The usually full complement of ATV, Side by sides, motorcycles, and watercraft Hattiesburg Cycles has always been known for was altered in the spring of 2020. As an unknown virus swept across the planet, everyone shut down and went home. Powersports brands closed the factory doors and supply chains ground to a halt. Due to our size, we were able to stay relatively stocked during the main shut down but with a quickly dwindling list of options. Some brands limited production and continued to limp along while others opted to shut down completely causing a shortage of parts and supplies to keep up with service needs.
Now a year later, Powersports companies are opening back up and slowly getting back to work. The trouble is that the demand never stopped and in some cases increased. Hattiesburg Cycles, along with every other Powersports dealer in the country, have on hold orders being filled as quickly as production lines can fill the trucks. This dynamic makes it almost impossible to fill the showroom and leads to many disappointed customers who came to purchase a unit only to find it was sold before hitting the floor.
